Planning was granted for the refurbishment and proposed extensions to this existing 1960’s dwelling.

 

It consisted of a two-story side extension featuring a bedroom suite, with garage to ground, a single story fully glazed kitchen/dining extension to rear.

 

The two-story extension is a juxtaposition of the current 1960s dwelling including a black timber box with minimal apertures.

 

It also has a glazed link which will create distinction between old and new. It will also

reduce the massing and allow views to the garden beyond.

 

Also a single storeys rear extension which is heavily glazed, top lit with large glazed roof  lights. The material pallet is simple and minimalist in styling.
